As Aivan is continuing to develop its Boats & Yachts team we are looking for an Interior Designer with a strong focus on superyachts and full-custom interiors to join our Helsinki-based studio. Working with projects that push the boundaries of design, you’ll have the chance to work on the most extraordinary yachts in the world.
Your profile
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working with interior 2D layouts and 3D design, FF&E, color & material design, details and finishing of yachts 25m – 100m and up
• Creating sketches and moodboards to communicate with the team
• Managing schedules and keeping project documentation up-to-date
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• 3-5 years of experience from interior design of yachts
• Ability to present your own ideas to project leads and art directors by hand sketching, 3D modeling and through mood and material boards
• Fluent in 3D and 2D CAD, visualization software or working with a dedicated visual artist
• Keen eye for design and styling proven by a portfolio of recent works
• Ability to produce feasible works from concept to sign-off and engineering
• In-depth knowledge of materials, technical requirements, sourcing and manufacturing technologies
• Good organizational skills, responsible and proactive
• Curiosity, capacity to learn new skills and work in a dynamic, ambitious team
• Fluent English
• Willingness to relocate to Helsinki, Finland
