Your mission

Technical Artist

About the Role

As a Technical Artist, you will serve as the vital bridge between our creative vision and technical execution. You will be responsible for architecting efficient pipelines, optimizing high-fidelity visuals, and empowering our art team to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Unreal Engine 5.

Beyond standard production, we are looking for a forward-thinking innovator. This role is ideal for a problem-solver who thrives on balancing aesthetic excellence with cutting-edge technical experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain production pipelines that enhance workflow efficiency across the CGI department.
  • Breakthrough Feature Development: Support the implementation of "first-of-its-kind" functionalities that differentiate our projects, from advanced interactivity to bespoke rendering techniques.
  • Optimization & Polishing: Identify, profile, and resolve performance bottlenecks. You will be responsible for "polishing" project features to ensure they meet both visual and technical targets.
  • Documentation & Standards: Author and update technical documentation for tools, workflows, and best practices to ensure team scalability.

Your profile

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in Unreal Engine 5 pipeline, including Blueprints, modeling/UV workflows, look-dev (shading/texturing) and optimization.
  • Strong experience with visual scripting (Blueprints) and text-based scripting languages to automate tasks and extend engine functionality.
  • A dedicated team player with a "problem-solving first" attitude and attention to detail.

Desired Skills

  • Full-Stack Awareness: Working knowledge of Frontend (e.g., React, Vue) and Backend (e.g., Node.js, Python, Databases) architectures to support the development of applications.
  • Web Integration: Knowledge of web technologies specifically regarding communication between WebUI and the Unreal Engine (e.g., JSON communication, WebSocket).
  • Profiling & Performance: Experience with Unreal Insights and other profiling tools.
  • Software Engineering: Experience with C++, C#, or other object-oriented languages.
  • Client Relations: Comfortable in client-facing environments.
  • AI & Machine Learning Interest: Active interest in integrating AI/ML workflows into the production pipeline (e.g., Stable Diffusion/ComfyUI, AI upscaling, or LLM-driven tooling).
  • Automotive Passion: Interest in high-end automotive visualization and vehicle technology.
